Overview - The APP Creation Process
The touchpro team is committed to delivering quality mobile apps to its customers in a timely manner, keeping the customer involved in the process and aware of the current status of the project at all times.
The app creation process implements a phased approach. At the beginning of each phase a milestone will be set to complete that particular phase. Meeting each milestone will be dependent upon both the customer and the touchpro team completing their assigned tasks in a timely manner. The time it takes from beginning to end of the entire project is therefore variable. The touchpro team will do everything in its power to minimize the time involved to have a completed app.
The Phases
Phase 1 - Content Gathering:
Immediately after touchpro is purchased the first phase can begin. This phase involves the customer filling out information outlined in provided forms as well as gathering and submitting supporting images like logos and branding assets. Getting this step completed is completely the responsibility of the customer.
Phase 2 - Beta Version & Intro:
As soon as the content gathering is completed and all assets and information is received, the focus of responsibility then shifts to the touchpro development team. We will complete a beta version of your app based on the information and content you provide. After we have completed the beta version we will then do a personalized walk-through of your app management console. This walk-through will be the first step in handing off the management and development of your app to you. Most customers are ready and willing to take on some level of further development of their app after this walk-through is completed. We will work with you to devise a plan of action at this point for getting through the next phases.
Phase 3 - Refine and Develop:
Depending upon your skill and comfort level and the plan agreed upon, this is the phase that will divide tasks between you and the touchpro team to apply the finishing and refining touches on your app. This is the point where you really become part of the team and we all work closely together to achieve our common goal.
Phase 4 - Review and Submit
When both you and the touchpro team feel their tasks are completed in the previous phase, it's time for all parties to coordinate and review the app and make sure it is ready for submission. There are very few requirements to get approved in the Android Market. On the contrary, there are very stringent requirements to be approved for the Apple Store. We will make every effort during the previous phases to be developing your app with the Apple requirements in mind so that approval process can go as smoothly as possible. Sometimes there will be delays in getting in the Apple Store if the initial submission is denied and changes need to be made in your app so it can be re-submitted.
